Now here's a lovely little thing you never knew you needed. Repotting bonsai is all about getting that soil back into every nook and cranny. Most folk use bamboo chopsticks but those are very thin and bendy. A thicker stick allows soil to get down into the roots easier as it moves the soil particles sideways more allowing better grain packing.
These 1/2" diameter chopsticks are made from English ash wood which is super hard and typically used for hammer or chisel handles and traditionally in things like wheel spokes. This hard and shock resistant wood will ensure a long life.
Approximately 200mm or 8" long and with nice finger grip grooves in just the right place to ensure a comfortable grip.
