Hori-Hori - Japanese Style Garden Tools
Hori-Hori literally translates as dig-dig!. The Japanese have a way of making mundane tools interesting and efficient. Conventional gardening trowels clog quickly, especially in heavy soil. They also tend to get bent and fall apart easily. The Hori-Hori will be a revelation to any gardener.
A fantastically versatile tool for gardening, collecting or re-potting. Use for planting, undercutting weeds, especially in lawns, re-potting large bonsai, planting baskets and tubs and lifting young plants. Great for working in amongst dense planting such as vegetable plots and flower borders.
A great quality gift for any gardener or plantsman.
This Hori-hori has a 175 x 40mm polished stainless steel slightly concave blade with a sharp serrated blade along one edge. The back of the blade is stamped with a graduated scale in 25mm segments to help determine the depth of insertion. The handle is lacquered hardwood with two steel pins and a hole for a lanyard or for hanging. You will not find a better quality tool of this kind at twice the price!
Also supplied is a riveted vinyl belt holster.
