The extremely popular model 39 is a hand forged scissor with hard steel laminated edges. It takes a minimum of 10 years experience before a craftsman can attain the skill required to make these beautiful scissors. These scissors are made with yellow steel with forge welded laminated cutting edges making a superior cutting tool and one of the most popular pruning scissor patterns.

Use for trimming green growth, shoots and soft foliage through to fine twigging (up to 2.5/3mm in the back of the blade) on all bonsai trees. Particularly useful for working in densely ramified mature bonsai. These scissors just might become your 'go to' tool for most pruning work and with care will last a life time.

Yellow steel will rust if not cared for appropriately. Always give a wipe over with Camellia Oil after use. Always ensure the tools pivot is oiled prior to use, this will ensure decades of exempary performance and prevent wear.
