Natural Jute Twine

Often used in place of Raffia to provide support or cushioning when bending heavy branches using wire. Jute twine can be wrapped around a branch tightly, either using a single strand or better still cut several strands of the same length, tie them at one end and then bind the branch as a single unit. This will save a lot of time and increase the support provided. Helps prevent branches from bursting open when bent by supporting the internal fibres. Prevents wire from making pressure points that might leave unsightly marks on smooth bark varieties like maple.

Natural jute fibre is very strong and will provide protection for months where needed. If not removed the fibres will begin to decay away after many months of exposure to the elements. 

Jute twine has a great many uses around the bonsai workshop. It's plastic free and can be added to compost after use.
